Identificación de Fusarium Link en semillas, tallos, seudotallos, tubérculos y raíces en diferentes cultivos nacionales e importados en Cuba.

Durante los años 1999 y 2000 fueron recepcionadas en el Laboratorio Central de Cuarentena Vegetal muestras de semillas de Adansonia, Allium, Apium, Asparragus, Beta, Capsicum, Carun, Citrillus, Coriandrum, Cucumis, Daucus, Gossypium, Hibiscus, Lactuca, Lycopersicum, Oryza, Pastos, Phaseolus, Spinacea, Zea, Brassica, Amaranthus, Vigna, Solanum, Shilanthus, Papaver y Xanthosoma; pseudotallos de Musa spp, tallos de Heliconia spp, Citrus spp y Saccharum officinarum, tubérculos de Solanum tuberosum y raíces de Nicotiana tabacum procedentes de diferentes países y de Cuba, con el objetivo de determinar la presencia de hongos patógenos en las mismas. En este trabajo se notifican por hospedantes 16 especies pertenecientes al género Fusarium sp identificadas mediante cámaras húmedas, siembras en medios de cultivos y uso de claves taxonómicas, de ellas 4 son nuevos para diferentes sustratos en Cuba. F. anthophilum (A. Braum) Wollenw, F. avenaceum (Fr.) Sacc, F. culmorum (W. G. Smith) Sacc., F. chlamydosporum Wollenw., F. dimerum Penzig., F. incarnatum (R.) Sacc., F. equiseti (Corda) Sacc. sensu Gordon, F. graminearum Schawabe., F. heterosporum Nees., F. moniliforme Scheldon., F. oxysporum Schlecht. emend. Snyd. & Hans, F. proliferatum (Matsushima) Nirenberg., F. solani (Mart.) Appel & Wollenm. emend. Snyd. & Hans, F. sporotrichioides Sherb, F. subglutinans Wollenw & Reink., y F. trichothecioides Wollenw, fueron las especies identificadas. También son relacionadas cada una de las especies con su procedencia y parte de la planta afectada.

During 1999 and 2000 at Central Plant Quarantine Laboratory were received seed samples ofAdansonia, Allium, Apium, Asparragus, Beta, Capsicum, Carun, Citrillus, Coriandrum, Cucumis, Daucus, Gossypium, Hibiscus, Lactuca, Lycopersicum, Oryza, Pastos, Phaseolus, Spinacea, Zea, Brassica, Amaranthus, Vigna, Solanum, Shilanthus, Papaver and Xanthosoma; pseudostems of Musa spp, stalks of Heliconia spp, Citrus spp and Saccharum officinarum, tubers of Solanum tuberosum and roots of Nicotiana tabacum from Cuba and other countries, with the objective to determine the presence of fungi pathogens. In our work we report 16 species of Fusarium, identified by blotters test, growth on culture media and taxomonic keys. From these, four are new reports to Cuba. Identified species were F. anthophilum (A. Braum) Wollenw, F. avenaceum (Fr.) Sacc., F. cuimorum (W. G. Smith) Sacc., F. chlamydosporum Wollenw, F. dimerum Penzig., F. incarnatum (R.) Sacc., F. equiseti (Corda) Sacc. sensu Gordon, F. graminearum Schawabe., F. heterosporum Nees., F. moniliforme Scheldon., F. oxysporum Schlecht. emend. Snyd. & Hans, F. proliferatum (Matsushima) Nirenberg., F. solani (Mart.) Appel & Wollenm. emend. Snyd. & Hans, F. sporotrichioides Sherb, F. subglutinans Wollenw & Reink., and F. trichothecioides Wollenw. Each species are also related with its origin and plant affected parts.
