Agriculture is a risky activity and crop production and farm income are affected by risk .so it is necessary that risk has been considered by farmers and appropriate strateges shoud be applied in order to face and reduce its adverse consequences . one of the usual strategies for considering the risk in farm planning is determination of optimum cropping patterns under risk conditions by using risk programming methods . this research is an attempt in order to determine and provide some optimum cropping patterns with variouse risk measurs by applying Target Motad model in lalekesht and mehtar kalateh agricultural production cooperatives in Golestan province such cropping pattern can be used by farmers according to their risk attitudes . solving the model in lalekesht cooperative , showed that rice ,tomato and melon are risky crops ,while they have expected high returns . but grain corn ,cotton and irrigated wheat are certain products with less expected returns . in mehtar kalateh cooperative, results shows that with increasing of risk , high product rice and soybean replace to high quality rice . in general , it is concluded that irrigated wheat , grain corn , cottan ,high uality rice can increase the stability of farms income and reduce risk in under study regions .
