The aim of the present work was to investigate the influence of some microclimatic factors, as light intensity and air temperature, on vegetative growth and productivity of kiwifruit fruiting vines, cv Hayward. The effect of anti-hail netting on vegetative growth pattern and yield performance of kiwifruit mature vines was investigated, considering the widespread use of covers in kiwifruit orchards. A second part of the study aimed at evaluating the temperature-dependence of carbon acquisition and demand in relation to shoot and fruit growth of fruiting kiwifruit vines grown in controlled environment

Nel presente lavoro si è inteso approfondire gli effetti dell'ombreggiamento provocato sulla fisiologia di produzione di piante di actinidia mature utilizzando reti antigrandine, in seguito alla notevole diffusione che questi apprestamenti protettivi hanno subito negli impianti commerciali di actinidia negli ultimi anni. Inoltre, in una seconda prova è stata studiata l'influenza della temperatura dell'aria, in ambiente controllato, su accumulo e fabbisogno in carbonio di piante di actinidia mature
