Relationship between the index with radiometric surface temperature and ratio of actual evapotranspiration (ET) to potential evaporation Esub(p) (=non-dimensional evapotranspiration) was examined in the indoor and field experiment. Index corresponded to the change of ET/Esub(p). Also, index was related to the leaf water potential and volumetric soil water content within the root zone.
