Stepanov, V.
The goal of the experiment has been to study the effect of the extracts of various strains of Pleurotus ostreatus (Jacq.:Fr) Kumm on wheat seeds in relation to the used nutritive substratum and operating dose. For research the strains N1, N4 and 1010 were cultivated on the following media:1) wheat straw; 2) wheat straw+sawdust (2/3+1/3); 3) wheat straw+sunflower seed husk (2/3+1/3); 4) wheat sraw+corn cobs (2/3+1/3). The process cycle lasted 100-117 days. Used substrata were diluted with water (0,1 and 1%) during 1 hour and the obtained extracts were used for the treatment of wheat seeds. It was found that the substrata, used for the growth of Pleurotus fungi, represent a source of bioactive substances, which can be used as growth regulators for wheat seeds. The stimulating effect depends on fungal strain, composition of nutritive substratum and dilution.
