Influence of carbomide phosphate as the farmyard disinfectant on the biological and biochemical activity of the soil

The main objective of the study was to assess the influence carbomide phosphate has on the number of microorganisms and biochemical activity of soil while used as farmyard manure disinfectant. In the combinations with the added carbomide phosphate the inhibition process of the growth of bacteria was observed, whereas stimulating action on the growth of fungi, ammonificators and nitrifiers. No clear influence of carbomide phosphate on the MPN of denitrificators was observed. Biochemical examinations proved that carbomide phosphate application increased N-NH4, phosphorus and magnesium content in the soil solution
