Influence of lead on morphological character of Sinapis alba L. and Glycine max (L.) Merr. flowers

Lead influence was manifested as the reduction of flower number and inflorescence shortening in white mustard that did not form the side branches due to high PbCl2 rates. Flower diameter and petal size significantly decreased as compared to the control for white mustard, for soybean, the changes were associated only with the size of the largest petal - vexillum. No variations regarding white mustard pollen grain size were found. Significant shortening of polar axis and equatorial diameter length of soybean pollen grain was observed
