Studies referring to flowering biology were performed on the flower and inflorescence morphological traits, pollination abundance as well as daily dynamics of pollen grains present in the air. Pollen fall measurements were made by means of gravimetric method using modified Durham's apparatus. Qualitative and quantitative estimation of pollen grains was made every week. The measurement stand was situated in the western part of the city by Pulawska Street (Poland) on the area of densely situated buildings. A pollen trap was placed at 9 meters height over the ground. Rumex acetosella is a dioecious plant growing up to 25-55 cm height. In the male flower, six stamens grow with anthers do not combined up to the half of their length. Several flower groups (5-6 mostly) grow on a stem in an alternate way. Stamen head produced 10 850, on the average, and one flower produced 65 100 pollen grains
