The effect of the physical mass of the main shoal of carps on the quality and the quantity of the fish-roe. [Master thesis]

Studying the possibility of getting the desired production of larvae in technological process of artificial roe spawning of carps with as little number of the quality main carps as possible, was the aim of this work. It was also necessary to confirm what an average physical mass main shoals of carps can be to give fish roe of the best quality, in fact, which of them would give more inseminated roes and what is the way to get sufficient amount of hypophysis more rationally. The experiment was carried out during two seasons (from the year 2005 to 2006). The best samples from the main shoal of carps were being chosen by the use of the artificial roe spawn. The necessity for the male samples was decreased for four of five times. During the incubation it was possible to protect the fish-roe from illness and parasites, from bad weather conditions and birds of pray. Thanks to this the pond production is becoming maximally rational.
