The paper deals with nitrogen utilization efficiency in wheat plant for forming grain protein and yield according to grain harvest index values. The aim was registering variation of this parameter in various wheat genotypes differing nutrition variants. It was observed average nitrogen distribution between grain and straw was the best in NP variant while the worst in control one (non - fertilized), by grain protein content aspect. Averagely, KG-56 and Studenica had the highest NHI values among studied genotypes. Considering particulars values, KG-56 genotype shown the greatest value of this parameter just in non - fertilized variant. The obtained results follows us to conclude investigated wheat genotypes shown very different reactions to some elements added in nutrition as well as some of them have expressed ability effectively utilize nitrogen in condition of its the least soil amounts.
