The paper presents heating balance on the line for miscella distillation which is a part of sunflower cake extraction process. The thermal energy, released during the process of distillation of miscella, is irretrievably taken away from the system with cooling water. Typical of this energy is low level (low temperatures). Thus, its direct use is impossible. However, there is a possibility of its recuperation by application of energy transmitters or heating pump.
