Production of lettuce seedlings

Success in lettuce production depends on microclimatic conditions. In Serbia lettuce is grown with two or three culture in different period of year. Also, it is grown in different type of greenhouses. In this work was represented different times of sowing lettuce in objects with and without heating. Special kind of firm produces lettuce during the whole year. In that kind of production producers use seedlings. Even when they producing in open field, they use seedlings. In order to have enough quantity of lettuce you must have production during whole year. In several tables it were represent data about needed time for producing and delivering. Critical temperatures for lettuce growing were also represented. It is also represent the number of plants per square meter if we use peat blocks 4 x 4 cm or 5 x 5 cm.
