Grain harvest index is indicator of utilization efficiency of plant dry matter needed for grain filling and protein synthesis. This paper deals with varying of this parameter in dependence on plant nutrition way. The six cultivars of winter soft wheat were included in this investigation, while five fertilization variants were applied, following: control (without fertilization), N, NPK, NP, and NK. According to obtained results we can conclude cultivar uses nutrients the most efficiency in poor nutrition conditions. The highest value of grain harvest index was noticed in control variants (50, KG - 56). The highest average values of this parameter were registered in wheat cultivars: Lazarica, KG - 100 and Pobeda.
