The blueberry is shrubby plant, which is present in many phytocenosis of Stara Planina mountains, Serbia. The blueberry biological properties and dispersion considered on the basis of informations from literature. The aim of this paper is analysing basic chemical properies of blueberry fruit run from Stara Planina mountains. Parallel with them does preview of data from literature. The blueberry is consider like growing wild and medicinal plant.
