Segregation is the most common problem in many industrial operations (mixing, transporting, storaging). There are many causes for this phenomena. Differences in particle size and particle shape or particles density are the most usual and cause differentiation through movement of particles. In industrial condition, there are many materials with different physical properties where occurred demixing or segragation. Understanding of segregation is necessary for process projecting, materials handling, sampling, packaging and many other aspects of production. Few places in technological process are suitable for segregation. In this work are examined technological process of poultry feed manufacturing. Results for mixture homogeneity obtained by the method with Microtracer, shown segregation through transport to final product.
