The main aim of the investigations is the determination of the cost expenses of biodiesel fuels produced from oil seeds, and sunflower, suybean and rape seed oils, as well as the investigation of its competition with the fossil liquid fuels on domestic market. Considering the revealed results the following conclusions could be drawn: Biodiesel production on the asis of oils seeds is more profitable than its production on the basis of row seed oils; The unit cost expenses have a significant drop with the increase of the plant capacity independently of the applied row material; In all analyzed variation of biodiesel production the obtained cost expenses are acceptable, i.e. the calculated cost expenses are lower than the acceptable price of biodiesel on the domestic market.
