The control of mass production of the honey bee queens from selection centres in Serbia

In Serbia, we carry out continually selection of domestic honey bee, more of 20 years in the following centres: Apicenter (Belgrade), Timomed (Knjazevac), Medoprodukt (Vranje), Pcelica Stojanovic (Kraljevo), and in commune Med (Vrsac). The special attention is dedicated to the Serbian law regulative on all in artificial selection of animals. After genetic analysis, we concluded, that some lines of domestic honey bee being declared as different ecotypes or even as different races in Serbia. We will continue to enlarge.
