Results of research of viability of young sturgeon, grown in conditions of closed water system, are presented. The examined species of sturgeon, namely bester hybrid and Lena sturgeon, have been tested according to four main indicators of viability: thermal resistibility to the lack of oxygen, to the lack of food and to toxins. Such statement of research has allowed to define a level of physiological formation of young sturgeon, its potential possibilities to maintain extreme loadings and to survive in adverse ecological conditions in which it can appear at the first stage of difficult biotechnical process in conditions both industrial, and natural fish culture. It is established, that on indicators of stability to deficiency of oxygen and thermoresistance the Lena sturgeon who has been grown up in the conditions of closed water system, surpasses literary data on 32,9% and 11,7% accordingly
