Research results of expression of gene resistance to X- and L-viruses (leaf roll disease) of potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) of Belarusian selection varieties (Talisman, Kolorit, Pramen, Zarnitsa, Granat, Skarb, Dar, Lileya) on the basis of protein markers revealed from the model collection of contrasting according to resistance indices clones with common genome were presented. Research results proved that studied proteins were located in the chlorophyll-containing layer and parenchyma of potato tuber. Analysis of the quantitative and component structure of alkali-soluble protein spectra of tuber of studied samples showed that the composition of polypeptides testing the state of resistance differed in different varieties. General and specific proteins were revealed and their diagnostic value as the resistance markers was determined. Realized investigation of protein spectra of potato sample cells made it possible to determine the polypeptides marking the resistance state to studied X- and L-viruses
