[Influence of negative air ions on incubative qualities of chicken and turkey eggs]

Research on studying of influence of light negative air ions (LNAI) on incubative qualities of poultry eggs have been carried out. It was established that LNAI in dosed concentrations and time expositions possess favourable impact on indices of eggs hatchability and chicks and turkey poults reproduction. Pre-incubative treatment by LNAI with concentration 10 x 10E4 ions/cm3 increases results of incubation during 6 hours. In experimental group at a distance 100 cm from source of LNAI the following indices were higher than at a control group: eggs hatchability – on 6.8% (P0,001), eggs fertilization – on 0.6% (P0,001), chickens reproduction - on (P0,001), live weight of daily chickens – on 1.3 g (P0,001). Treatment of turkey eggs by LNAI with concentration 80-150 x 10E3 ions/cm3 during all the period of incubation has allowed to receive turkey eggs hatchability on 1.4% more in comparison with the control variant. Live weight of daily turkey poults is higher on 1.4g than at the control variant
