Brown spot (pear - leaf rust), caused by a fungus Entomosporium maculatum Lev., is a harmful disease of pear nurseries. The infected by spot leaves fall premature, what worsens eye survivability and seedling stock and graft hibernation. A radical method of pear protection against pear - leaf rust is the application of fungicides. To find the effective preparations the research were carried out using a number of fungicides under conditions promoting the disease development. The most effective turned out to be the preparations delan (a.i. ditianon), fundazol (a.i. benomil) and bumper (a.i. propiconazole), the biological efficiency from their application has made 78,6 - 85,2%. Penncozeb efficiency (a.i. mancozeb), scor (a.i. difenoconasole) and stroby (a.i. cresoxymethyl) was at the level of 48,3% - 57,5%
