An influence of diluting agents of boar sperm and a method of its processing on results in sows' reproduction

The aim of the study was to compare the quality of boar semen diluted by two different diluting agents used in the Czech Republic, C and D. The agent C had a better preservative effect than the agent D as the conception rate of sows after the first insemination (2,168 and 2,209 of sows inseminated, respectively) was 78% vs. 72% and the number of piglets per litter was on average 10.7 vs. 10.5.
