In this study, some of the existing classic and wheel move sprinkler irrigation systems in Isfahan (Fereidan Region) and Hamedan (Dashtebahar Region) Provinces were evaluated. Ten and nine sprinkler irrigation systems in Hamedan and Isfahan respectively were evaluated for 2 years and uniformity coefficient, potential and actual application efficiency of low quarter were determined. DU, CU, AELQ and PELQ in the field under study (Hamedan) were 53%, 45.6%, 81.1% and 71.1% respectively. These Parameters in Isfahan were equal 62.2%, 58.3%. 75.8% and 64.3% respectively. Water consumption of the field under sprinkler irrigation and furrow irrigation in Isfahan and Hamedan were found to be 6745, 6298, 10464 and 11610 m3/ha respectively. The results show that low PELQ mostly was due to the economical issues, whereas the low values of DU and CU could be attributed to insufficient pressure and discharge of irrigation systems. The evaporation and drift lo sses in Hamedan Province were found to be 3 times greater than Isfahan. In some cases the potential and actual application efficiencies were approximately equal. This is the consequence of insufficient irrigation water during growing season. The results of economical analysis showed that inputs costs have decreased and incomes have increased for executed sprinkler irrigation systems compare to furrow irrigation in Hamedan. However, both inputs costs and incomes of this system have increased in Isfahan. The increase of income in sprinkler systems was 1.5 times in Hamedan and 3 times in Isfahan related to furrow system. Increasing of water use efficiency in sprinkler system has effected on increasing of farms incomes due to cultivation more area of other crops. Ratio index of benefit to cost showed that by investing one unit in sprinkler systems in their useful life, we can make 6.02 unit of benefit in Hamedan and 5.43 unit of benefit in Isfahan with 18% discount rate. There f o r, executing sprinkler irrigation systems were economical in both provinces. Final results confirm that benefit to cost ratio is directly proportional to potato yield, planted area and inversely proportional to the contribution of field owner in wells costs.
