Comparative study on quantitative and qualitative characteristics of six promising clomes and six progenies of T.P.S with two commercial potato cultivars

In this study quantitative and qualitative characters of six promising clones and progenies from crossing between two commercial cultivars(Agria Picaso) were determined and also,Their growth and develop stage were studied. The experimental design was Random complete design with four replications during a year. The noted characters were including : 1- date of planting 2-date of irrigation 3- data of Tuborization 4- date of germiniation (15% of the field) 5- date of complete couering of the field 6- date of flowering 7- colour of the flowers 8- form of plant 9- leaf shape 10- Shape and colour of the skin and of the tubers. 11- date of physiological maturity of each clone. 12- Average number of tubers in each clone. 13- quality of chips. The collected data were analysed statistically based on variance analysis for each region and combined variance analysis for two regions.
