Comparision and study of density and planting effect on the north Khuzestan.

In order to investigate the possibility of increasing plant density by changing planting pattern , an experiment was conducted in safiabad agricultural research Center in 2001 and 2002 years. The experimental design was split factoriel in randomize compelet block with four replications , in wich the main plot was two promising hybrids (TWC 600 and Sc 720 ), the combination of plant density and planting pattern allocated to subplot plant densities had four level (7,8,9 and 10 plants per m2) and planting patterns had two level (single and double row spacings).the results first year (2001) indicated were significantly plant density on grain yield , kernel number per ear , kernel number per row on ear , row number on ear. Also TWC 600 and Sc720 hibrys were significatly viewpoint Difference between 200 kernel weight and row number on ear. Viewpoint butcharatristics remainder did not significantly . the results second year (2002) indicated that TWC600 hybrid significantly higher yielded than SC 720 hybris . Effects of plant density and plantig pattern on grain yield and intraction between planting pattern with plant density , planting pattern with hybrid , plant density with hybrid and planting pattern with plant density and hybrid for grain yield were not significant . Effect of planting pattern on grain yield of individual plant was not significant . the TWC 600 hybrid and lowest density had significantly higher individual plant yield than SC 720 hybrid and other densities. Effect of planting pattern plant density and hybrids on kernel number per ear didnandrsquot significant . the hybrids significantly affected on kernel number per ear row , but the plant density and planting pattern didnandrsquot . the hybrid TWC 600 had higher kernel number per ear row than SC720 hybrid. The number of kernel rows per ear of hybrids were significantly different , but effect of planting pattern and plant density on it were not significant . Difference between 200 kernels weight of hibryds and plant densities were not sighificants : but single row spacing significantly had higher 200 kernels weight than double ow spacing .
