The present investigation was conducted to study morpho – physiological characteristic which effect potato yield in introduced varieties of Potato in north part of Khorasan during 2000-2001. An experiment was laid out in a Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD) at the farm of Jolgeh Rokh Research Station. All six varieties (treatments) were replicated 4 times. Necessary cultural practices were applied to field according to variety requirements during growth period. Morphologic and physiologic traits were registered with 14 days interval adopting destructive sampling. Correlation between observed factors and yield were estimated following data analysis and calculating coefficient of equation. The Path analysis was done with selected traits and its diagram was drawn for determining the rational relationship between effective traits on yield. It was found that biological yield (1.802) and number of stolen (0.578) had the most direct effect on economic yield. Therefore to improve the yield of Potato one must pay attention to breed the plants with higher biomass and the rate of growth of stolen and tuber.
