Melon is one of the most important cash crops in khorassan region. there is not any information about melon response to micro nutrients. So an split plot experiment was conducted With 8 fertilizer treatments (NPK, NPK +…) Arranged in sub plant and two melon cultivars (Tashkandy and Qassry) in main plots in three replication with complete block randomized design during 1380-181 in torogh agricultural station in a fine loamy over sandy skeletal mixed msic torriorthents soil. Results showed that fertilizer treatments increased yield significantly at 5% level and the greatest yield was obtained from F5 treatment (NPK +Fe+Zn ) with 24 Ton/ha and the least yield was obtained from F6 treatment(NPK +Fe+Zn +B ) with20.289ton/ha.yield.Treatments also affected melon Total Dissolved Solid content significantly at 5% level and the greatest sugar content obtained from V1F2. treatment with 13% sugar content. The effect of variety on the yield and sugar content was significant 5% level but treatments did not affect fruit size and fruit fractions (seed, skin, meant) at 5% level.
