Selection of lines with effective charctristics for high yield in wheat segregation in warm and semi warm dryland condition.

In this study as many as 65 bread wheat segregating populations including 60 F4 and 5 F6 generations were studied in Khorramabad dryland agriculture research station in 2005-6 wheat growing season throught modified bulk method. During the growing period selection was done for desirable traits such as early vigorplant heighttiller number uniformity of panicle exertionearliness and reaction to major diseases. According to the results 26 F4 and 4 F6 populations were selected for advance evaluations.
