Organic acids and botanic feed additives influence on piglets growing intensity and digestive tract microflora

Practical animal husbandry and scientific investigations testify that 6-7% of piglets during suckling period and after weaning from sows disease with stomach and digestive tract inflammations and its caused diseases. It negatively influence piglets' health and feed substances digestability and conversion. The investigations tasks was to elaborate piglets feed additive with bile activity intensifying, antimicrobial, bactericide, fungicidal and taste improving properties, that promote piglets growing and development. Feed additive contained formic acid, acetic acid, citric acid, phosphoric acid, needle processing products, plants oil, soybean solvent cake and feed yeast. Additive was supplemented to starter feed in 1% amount of it weight. By feeding out additive to piglets from 21 day age till 81 days age it was obtained in trial group in average 363+-18 grams live weight daily gain with feed conversion 1.22 kg, but in control group 294+-21 grams and 1.31 kg correspondingly (p is less than 0.05). Additive decreased intestine tract moulds CFU count, staphylococcus CFU count, as well as E.coli termophilic and mesophilic forms CFU count in 1 gram of sample, but promoted lactic acid bacteria CFU count increase at the same time.
