Results of breeding value evaluation in Polish Holstein-Friesian bulls [Pt.2]

In the April-September 2005 calving season the multi trait BLUP Animal model was used for evaluation of the breeding values of sires and cows. The cows calved in herds and herd-year-season subclasses (HYS). The number of HYS subclasses decreased in the both second and third lactation. In the calving October 2005 - March 2006 season the multi trait BLUP Animal Model was used for evaluation of the breeding values of sires and cows. In the Black-and-White Polish Holstein Friesian breed and the Red-and-White Polish Holstein Friesian breed, sires and cows were evaluated, based on 10 or more daughter
