Yielding and soil water content depending on conserving cultivation applied for plants grown in different crop rotation

The research aimed at determining the influence on conserving cultivation and different crop sequence on soil water content and yielding of plants. It was based on a static field experiment carried out in 2002-05. The first factor were modes of cultivation: A - traditional ploughing, B - zero-tillage, weed control with herbicides and direct sowing. The second factor was differentiated succession under winter wheat: I - spring rape in 2002 and winter rape in 2004, II - pea+oats, III - oats, IV - maize. Yielding of crops depended on weather conditions and then on the modes of tillage. Droughts were the main factor which limited the yielding of crops, irrespective of the cultivation measures performed
