Association Sparganio-Glycerietum fluitantis Br.-Bl. in the Moravica river valley in Eastern Serbia

Within the research of phytocoenologic characteristics of the Moravica river basin, ass. Sparganio-Glycerietum fluitantis, Br.-Bl. 1925, with its differential species Sparganium erectum has been distinguished. The aim of the work is to establish ecological conditions of the environment and the degree and the types of the pollution of the Moravica river waters, bases on vascular plants index. The existence of ass. Sparganio-Glycerietum fluitantis Br.-Bl. 1925 indicates the presence of mild organic materials (N=3,4) in the soil, as this plant develops in the mildly polluted waters.
