In last fifteen years stock production in Serbia is decreasing. Number of livestock and their outputs is decreasing. These are the facts, opposite of favourable natural conditions for significantly better results in this area. This paper analyses the state of stock farming production in 3 districts of the Republic of Serbia, which rank among larger districts by surface, with different natural conditions, different surface structure and agricultural land utilization method. Analyses objects are: South Banat district, as lowland region, Macva district, as a mixture of lowland and hilly-mountainous terrain, and Zlatibor district, as expressively hilly-mountainous region. Beside natural factors which stipulate such differences in livestock number and some yields, in this work have been elaborated some other factors. The biggest restrictive factor for long-term dynamic activities of livestock productions is depopulation process that has overtook whole Republic, especially huge number of rural settlements and all hilly-mountainous areas. Observing numberous marks mentioned in this work and levels by which they had been analysed, text contains a plenty of information, which clearly point out to relations, state and possibilities. Nevertheless, numberous and significant data are given in tables.
