The paper shows present possibilities and possible advantages of latest generation of grain harvesters in process of precision agricultural production, with focus on monitoring and measurement of yield in function of mapping. Those functions can be realized by equipping harvesters with appropriate measuring units connected with Global Position System (GPS), concerning that in this paper is shown main characteristics of sensors for measuring yield and GPS it self.
