Comparative review of production and reproductive parameters in ostrishes produced in two farms

The production and reproductive parameters were observed in private farms close near Zrenjanin, Serbia (Reproductive Center Muzlja - Gagros), and in Ovca (www.noj.co.yu) during period from 2003 to 2005. Based on analyzed results it may be concluded that the obtained production and reproductive results on both farms were comparatively low, which can be understood, considering our climate and the fact that his production is new in our country. In total, it may be concluded that farm in Zrenjanin compared to farm in Ovca had better results, due to somewhat larger production, adequate raising technology for certain ostrich categories and modern process of egg incubation.
