Analysis of combining abilities for plant height in forage sorghum and Sudan grass using line x tester analysis

Eight cms lines of forage sorghum (P-172, A 33 S hib. 675, S-8 682, P-80 SS-3 678, P-48 642, P-158, SS-1 662, P-188) and two Sudan grass R lines serving as testers (Savana-282, ST-312) were studied for their combining abilities for plant height in the first and second cuts during 2006. The combining abilities were calculated using line x tester analysis.
