[A genetical diversity of wheat and barley on effective disease resistance and possibility of its expanding]

英语. The specimens (Sp) from the World collection of the N.I. Vavilov Plant Growing Institute were studied, namely 3765 Sp of soft wheat and 2365 Sp of barley. The leaf pieces placed in the benzimidazole solution and inoculated by causative agent of diseases were used for the juvenile resistance estimation. The benzimidazole can induce a disease resistance of some Sp and therefore a part of susceptible Sp can be wrongly classified as resistant ones. The genetical diversity of wheat and barley on diseases resistance is the narrowest. Sp of wheat resistant against the leaf rust are protected by genes Lr9, 19, 24, 41 and Sp of barley resistant against the nanous rust - by gene Rph7. Resistance of barley to the dark-brown sheet spot (DBSS) is determined by gene Rcs5. It was not revealed wheat Sp resistant to DBSS, to an ordinary root rot (ORR) and to winter wheat leaf blotch (WWLB). The promising Sp for an introgressive hybridization with soft wheat were marked out: leaf rust resistant Triticum boeoticum (4 Sp), DBSS resistant T. araraticum (4 Sp) and T. timopheevii (1 Sp); WWLB resistant T. araraticum (3 Sp), T. timopheevii (2 Sp) and T. monococcum (1 Sp). For barley selection there were marked out the nanous rust resistant Hordeum bulbosum (5 Sp) and H. agriocrithon (1 Sp); ORR resistant H. agriocrithon (1 Sp) and H. spontaneum (1 Sp). A few new genes of diseases resistance are identified. In vitro screening for resistance to cultural fluids of Bipolaris sorokiniana wheat resistant callus lines are selected, however regenerants from them were susceptible to the DBSS and to the ORR. As a result of selection in progeny of wheat and the barley cultured in vitro the diseases resistant lines were obtained. Their resistance is controlled by 3 or more complementary genes; therefore the practical use of these lines is difficult. The formation of big hybrid populations is necessary for detection of homozygotes.

俄语. Материалом для исследования служили 3765 образцов мягкой пшеницы и 2365 образца культурного ячменя из Мировой коллекции ВНИИ растениеводства им. Н.И.Вавилова. Ювенильную устойчивость образцов оценивали методом инокуляции возбудителями болезней отрезков листьев, помещенных в водный раствор бензимидазола. Установлено, что у ряда образцов бензимидазол индуцирует устойчивость к болезням, поэтому часть восприимчивых образцов может быть ошибочно отнесена к устойчивым. Генетическое разнообразие пшеницы и ячменя по устойчивости к болезням крайне узко. Образцы пшеницы, устойчивые к листовой ржавчине, защищены генами Lr9, 19, 24, 41; образцы ячменя, устойчивые к карликовой ржавчине – геном Rph7. Устойчивость ячменя к темно-бурой листовой пятнистости (ТБЛП) детерминируется геном Rcs5. Не выявлено образцов пшеницы, устойчивых к ТБЛП, обыкновенной корневой гнили и септориозу. Выделены перспективные образцы для интрогрессивной гибридизации с мягкой пшеницей: из устойчивых к листовой ржавчине – 4 образца Triticum boeoticum, к ТБЛП - 4 образца T. araraticum, 1 T. timopheevii; к септориозу – 3 образца T. araraticum, 2 T. timopheevii и 1 - T. monococcum. Для селекции ячменя перспективны 5 устойчивых к карликовой ржавчине образцов Hordeum bulbosum и 1 H. agriocrithon, а также по 1 образцу устойчивых к обыкновенной корневой гнили H. agriocrithon и H. spontaneum. Идентифицировано несколько новых генов устойчивости к болезням. При отборе in vitro на устойчивость к культуральной жидкости Bipolaris sorokiniana получены устойчивые каллусные линии пшеницы, однако регенеранты из них были восприимчивы к ТБЛП и к обыкновенной корневой гнили. В результате отбора в потомстве растений пшеницы и ячменя, полученных в культуре in vitro, выделены устойчивые к болезням линии. Генетический контроль устойчивость осуществляется не менее чем 3 комплементарными генами, что затрудняет практическое использование этих линий. Для выявления гомозигот необходимо создание больших гибридных популяций.
