In vitro production of embryos, and as part of this method, in vitro maturation of oocytes, have received great attention in last ten-fifteen years. It is well established in bovine. Here, in this review is presented importance of this method, usual meiotic division is described, as well as importance of biochemical investigations of several protein factors and enzymes, which control these process.
