The paper gives an account of the efficiency of three pyrethroids (alpha-cypermethrin, gamma-cyhalothrin and tau-fluvalinate) in the control of pollen beetles (Meligethes aeneus F.) in the spring of 2007. The insecticides were applied two times, in the phases BBCH 50 (D1) and 51-55 (D2 and E), in the location of Rimski Sancevi (Serbia) and in one turn, in the phase BBCH 55-57 (D2 and E), in the location of Indjija (Serbia). The high efficiency achieved in both locations are indications of pollen beetle sensitivity to the investigated pyrethroids. Damages caused by Ceuthorrhynchus quadridens/C. pallidactylus were detected on about 60% of the test plants.
