The biological spectrum of weed phytocoenoses of row crops and small grains in north-western Serbia are analysed. In all examined associations therophytes have a dominant role. Geophytes (32%) and hemiocryptophytes (20%) are also present in significant percentages. The analysis of the biological spectrum of weed phytocoenoses of the examined habitats can indicate the appropriate time and method of weed control.
