In small plot trials with using of the middle heavy typical fluvi soil with soil reaction (pH 6.7-7.0) realised in the Demonstration Garden of the SAU Nitra the influence of foliar application of phenolic compounds on the parsley yield and quality was studied. Salicylic acid as the most suitable phenolic coumpound caused the increasing of the roots parsleys yield and the L ascorbic acid content (34.7%, 20.7%). From phenolic compounds the resorcinol was the most suitable phenolic coumponds, increased the yield by 80% and ascorbic acid by 20%.
