Natural oaks the genus Quercus L. in Slovakia and their ecological claims

The oak research on Slovakia advanced at the systematical ecological and chorological point during the last decades. In the first series it was the presence demonstration 9. of the original species the genus Quercus L. on Slovakia. They belong into 4. sections. By area the most numerous substituted section is Roburoides SCHWZ. with species Q. dalechampii TEN., Q. petraea (MATT.) Liebl, Q. polycarpa SCHUR. Next by the species numerous is section Dascia KY. with species: Q. frainetto TEN., Q. pubescens WILLD. a Q. virgiliana TEN. Two representatives has section Robur RCHB.: Q. robur L. a Q. pedunculiflora C. KOCH. Only one representative has section Eucerris OERST., it is Q. cerris L. Progress setted in knowledge of the ecological claims by the forest types and by groups of the forest type, as in chronology and density too.
