In general, it is expected that the impact of the changed climate will negatively effect the formation of social attributes. The problem was solved pursuant to: analyses of the last climatic period, the actual situation concerning the land fund and its possible jeopardy, analyses of strategic goals and real trends in the agricultural production. The results familiarized approaches to the evaluation of impacts of the climatic change on the amount of essential costs for growing of crop commodities (through variable costs) and on the effect of their growing (through the contribution for reimbursement of fixed costs). Providing the more extreme and more long-run functioning negative manifestation of climate in the future period, we tried to forecast the volume of the necessary production of main crops for the nutrition of inhabitants. The necessary land acreage for the human nutrition and for the production of nonfood raw materials was balanced on the base of the structure and intensity of cultivated crops. From our calculations results that in spite of the climatic change the Slovak agriculture will be able to secure the sufficient volume of main types of foods namely by using sources from the domestic production and by realization of necessary measures. However, so called the granary of Slovakia will be shifted from the Rye Island to the periphery of lowlands and to uplands.
