Experiment on the use of 5 phosphates namely Na2HPO4, Na2HPO4, 2H2O, Na2HPO4, 12H2O, K2HPO4 and NaH2PO4, H2O in place of phosphates in f/2 diet formula at 25 ppm was carried out by beginning with culture of Chlorococcum sp. at 1.67*10**(4) cells per ml densities, 10,000 lux light intensities for 18 hours per day and 3 percent carbondioxide mixed with air throughout the experiment. It was found that Na2HPO4,12H2O gave the highest numbers of cells namely 488*10**(4) cells per ml. with highly significant (P LT 0.01) other than other phosphates. The cell division rate (k) from 0-28 day was 0.2926. The relationship aquation model between average number of cells and culture day was cubic regression equation, i.e. number of Chlorococcum sp.=414310+1118684 Day-81778 Day**(2)+1698.63 Day**(3), r sup(2)=0.87
