As a result of research of fractional structure of vegetable cultures it is proved that the highest sowing qualities are received at the largest seeds, significant reduction of seeds size and energy of germination there was with decrease in weight of 1000 seeds.Proceeding from it the necessity of application of calibration of seeds of vegetable cultures is experimentally proved. As a result of the spent research of seeds of onions it is established that in the 1st fraction 9% of seeds was with absolute weight of 1000 seeds - 3,35 g. In the 2nd fraction their weight has increased in 2 times and has made 18%. Thus the weight of 1000 seeds has decreased to 3,08 g or on 8,1%. In the 3rd fraction there were 16% of seeds at weight of seeds of 2,7. In the 4th fraction there were 23% of seeds, but the absolute weight of 1000 seeds has decreased on 43% in comparison with the 1st fraction and has made 2,23. The 5th fraction has made 32% and basically, all seeds were in receptacle cover. Necessity of repeated clearing of the 4th and 5th fraction of seeds is established. Germination of carrots seeds also decreased from the first fraction to the fifth. Seeds of the 1st and the 2nd fraction with 69-71% was characterized by the greatest germination. Germination of seeds of the 3rd, 4th and 5th fraction was less then initial on 11, 15 and 37%
