[Peculiarities of meiosis in hybrids of triticale and secalotriticum]

The article shows data about cytogenetic instability and fertility of pollen in hybrids, obtained from reciprocal cross-breedings of triticale and secalotriticum. It was established interrelation between meiosis defect and fertility of pollen grains. It was noted, that the quantity of fertile pollen grains depends on genotype of crossed forms and amounts to 24.4-100%. It was determined genotypes with high fertility of pollen. These genotypes could be successfully used for obtaining cylogenetically stable forms of both wheat-rye and rye-wheat hybrids with high poller, fertility and ear grain content
