Impact of farm women's participation on home enviroment- an overview

The present study was undertaken to know the impact of farm women's participation in agricultural and allied activities on home environment and the constraints faced while doing these activities. The results revealed that majority of the respondents belong to the age group of 34 -45 years, were illiterate and belonged to the families having 0 -6 family members. Positive impact of women's participation in agricultural and allied activities was found to be medium in extent in terms of family life, education of children, household standard, economic status and social status. Negative impact was found to be medium in extent in terms of personal. health and family life but low in extent of impact on children and social life. Farmwomen were facing constraints concerning these activities to medium extent.
