An attempt has been made to identify and scientifically validate the indigenous knowledge of rural women regarding the management of livestock diseases. Diseases included are indigestion, bloat, foot-and-mouth disease, mastitis, tail necrosis, anestrus, hemorrhagic septicemia, and parasitic infestation.
