A field experiment was conducted during the Zaid kharif season of 2001-02 to study the response of toria (Brassica campestris var. toria) to row orientation under different levels of nitrogen and phosphorus. Maximum number of siliquae/plant, seeds/siliqua, 1000-seed weight and seed yield of toria were observed under bidirectional sowing than that Uni (E- W) and Uni (N-S). Significantly higher seed yield and yield attributes were recorded with N60 (10.68 q/ha) and N-100 (10.90 q/ha) than No) (9.75 q/ha). N60 was found to be economical. Similarly, significantly higher seeds yield was noticed with P10 (10.65 q/ha) and P30 (10.90 q/ha) than P1O (9.77 q/ha). P20 was selected to be economical.
