The objective of these studies was to find variety, which produce higher yield than local checks and resistant to ascochyta blight, erect growth habit for mechanical harvest, large seed size and high adaptability to Kermanshah, Lorestan, Ilam, Gachsaran, Golastan and Oromieyeh condition. This research was conducted in two experiments. Experimental material of these experiments comprised 14 and 13 lines along with Bivanij and Arman and local varieties in RCBD with four replications at Kermanshah, Lorestan, Ilam, Gachsaran, Golastan and Oromieyeh Research Stations during two years ( 2004-06). Each genotype was planted in four rows with 30 cm distance between rows. Data were recorded on days to 50% flowering, days to maturity, plant type, plant height, reaction to diseases, 100-seed weight and seed yield. Pooled analysis for determination intraction of year × genotype, genotypes× region, year × region× genotype were done for all of the stations. Stability analysis was done by simultaneous selection for yield and stability. The result of present study showed that the lines X96TH3K5 with 1911 kg/ha produced higher yield than Arman and this line was most stable genotypes in first experiment. The lines FLIP 97-74 C with 1681 kg/ha produced the highest yield and this line was the most stable genotypes in second experiment .
